Course Overview
Bachelors of Pharmacy (B.PHARM) is four years full term regular course, affiliated to and approved by AKTU and Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi.
Rakshpal Bahadur College of Pharmacy, Bareilly will strive hard to become a centre of excellence in Pharmaceutical Education and Research and will be national leader in the field of pharmaceutical sciences and pharmacy practice with the mission of strengthening the healthcare of the country.
The Pharmacy program covers all the aspects of healthcare including drug designing and pharmacovigilance study that concerns with the formulation development and implementing those skills for the right diagnosis of disease. Students will learn about the medicines and their adverse effect on human body in detail. There are different specialization like pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmaceutics, pharmacology, pharmacognosy and pharmaceutical analysis. Others new specializations such as DRA (Drug Regulatory Affairs) and Neutraceuticals are currently in trend.
This course is in vogue because it offers diverse job opportunities in various fields such as in pharmaceutical sectors, biotechnology firms, medical sectors as well as in R&D (Research and Development). Many drug research organisations and Drug Regulatory Agencies prefer students with B. Pharm degree.

Eligibility as per PCI Regulations
Duration Of Course: Bachelors in Pharmacy is a full term regular course. The course consists of four academic years ( 8 semesters) and industrial training session. On course completion (academic program and industrial training), successful candidates will get Degree from the University/Institute and they will also get registered in State Pharmacy Council as a Registered Pharmacist.
Qualification: Minimum qualification for admission to Bachelors in Pharmacy is 10+2 pass with PCM (45%) & PCB(50%).
Admission Process: Direct Admission / on the basis of merit of U.P.S.E.E.( Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Exam)
