B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering (ME) is a four-year degree program in engineering Approved by AICTE and affiliated with Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow. The department provides a strong foundation for the overall growth and development of the students by enriching them with technical, analytical, quantitative, reasoning, ethical & linguistic qualities. The department has a pool of well qualified and experienced faculty having backgrounds from IIT, NIT and other nationally and internationally recognized institutes in various research areas including Computational Fluid Dynamics, FEM, Rapid prototyping, Smart materials, Combustion etc. As a result of a large amount of mechanical engineering applications in various industries and organizations, branch is regarded as Ever Green Branch in engineering which never allows you to remain jobless.

The department has Thermodynamics and Applied Thermodynamics lab, Fluid Mechanic lab, Dynamics of Machines lab, CAD/CAM lab, Material Science lab, Manufacturing Science and Technology lab, Heat & Mass Transfer lab, Measurement & Metrology lab, Fluid Machinery lab, Machine Design lab, Engineering Mechanics lab, Workshop Practice lab and Drawing Hall. For bridging the gap between industry and academia, the department had initiated Excellence Centre for the development of skills among the students.
